There is news that the Hedge Fund mismanager Guy Hands who owns EMI wants to sell Abbey Road Studios to raise capital for Terra Firma.
Guy Hands buying EMI is the reason that Paul McCartney left them after 45 years and released his last album on Starbucks.
Getting a building listed in England would protect it and we only need to show “Association with well-known characters or events,” which Abbey Road clearly meets. It would also enable it to continue functioning as recording studio.
